Matt graduated from Birmingham University in 1998 and joined the Stratford practice immediately. After twelve months he went to work in City Hospital, Birmingham for a year to pursue his interest in Oral Surgery and gain further dental qualifications. He rejoined the practice in 2000.

In 2000 he attained membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was granted the additional qualification of MFDS RCS (England). He has attended numerous post graduate courses and has completed an MSc in General Dental Practice. He has also been approved as a Trainer of new graduates.

Outside dentistry he is interested in art and is keen on drawing.
